- Exhibition: Return of the Yellow Peril: A Survey of the Work of Roger Shimomura, 1969-2004. through February 1, 2009, Beach Museum of Art. Shimomura's career has been devoted to exploring racism in all its forms and he creates inviting American tableaus, a deceptively attractive medium for the ugliness of ignorance.
- Geography Colloquium: Early Days in the Sustainability Transition at K-State. 3 p.m., 132 Seaton Hall. Presented by Dr. Ben Champion, Department of Geography and Director of Sustainability, K-State.
- International Educator Award Reception and Ceremony. 3 p.m., Hemisphere Room, Hale Library. Peer advisors will share information on how to start the study abroad process.
- Coffee hour: Columbia: A Hidden Paradise. 4 to 5 p.m., International Student Center. Coffee Hour is an informal forum for international students to showcase their country.
- Concert: Wizard Rock Concert for the Harry Potter Alliance. 7 to 9:30 p.m., Main Ballroom, K-State Student Union. Featuring performances by The Whomping Willows, Justin Finch-Fletchley, and the Sugar Quills. Proceeds will go to the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA), an organization dedicated to ending world-wide hunger, violence, and prejudice. Admission: $5, with $2 going to HPA.

- Theater: Noises Off. 7:30 p.m., running Nov. 20-23, McCain Auditorium. Noises Off has been hailed by critics as one of the funniest plays of the last thirty years. Buy tickets online or call the Box office at 532-6428.
