Green Antelopehorn Asclepias viridis Walt. (MILKWEED FAMILY)
Green antelopehorn is an ascending, essentially glabrous perennial 1-2 ft tall with several stems arising from a single base. The alternate leaves are oblong or lance-oblong and leathery. The inflorescence is of clustered terminal umbels of greenish flowers with purplish hoods. The follicle resembles a small antelope horn and has brown tufted seeds.
