All Chapters (Optional)

The last exam will be at the beginning of the last week of classes. At that time you may choose to take the grade you have or take the final. The final may improve or reduce your grade. There will be no makeup exams for exams missed during the semester. If you have a legitimate excuse, you will get the average of your other grades for the exam you missed, and you must take the final. If your excuse is not legitimate, you will receive a zero grade. There are no exceptions to this policy. I will give you one week's notice prior to the exams. Those students who fail an exam must come by my office within one week after the exam has been returned to them. You will not be allowed to take another exam otherwise. University policy states that I must inform you of the consequences of academic dishonesty. If you cheat on an exam in this course, you will receive a zero grade for that exam, and your academic advisor, the head of your academic department, and the Dean of your college will be informed in writing as to circumstances involved. Any further academic dishonesy will result in an automatic "F" for the course, and your case will be turned over to the proper university group for a hearing which may result in your dismissal from the university.

Students with Disabilities: Any student with a disability that needs an accomodation or other assistance in this course should make an appointment with me as soon as possible.
